The Somali Youth Resilience Committee (SYRC) is a non-profit organization founded in 2015, committed to empowering young people across Somalia to become active, resilient, and productive members of society. We work at the intersection of education, health, livelihoods, and protection addressing the root causes of vulnerability while promoting sustainable community transformation.

With over 70% of Somalia’s population under the age of 30, youth represent both the country’s greatest opportunity and its biggest challenge.
Many face unemployment, limited access to education, displacement, and the impacts of climate change making targeted support and empowerment critical.
